Using the characteristics of a camera obscura, Boy, have we got a vacation for you! is made of two parts connected by a PVC pipe. The work involves a revolving cylindrical photographic landscape, in front of which a plastic cowboy on a horse moves in an up and down motion. The image is inverted by a lens within a pipe, which reappears as a moving image on a screen within the pipe on the other side. The work incorporates a typical western soundtrack, which is only audible when the viewer is looking directly into the pipe.
